Asus ve278q monitor doesn't work

Soo I got a new asus monitor and when I try to turn it on it says no Vga signal btw I don't have a Vga port on my motherboard soo I tried using a DVI or a HDMI cabel but still shows No Vga signal Plz help kind regards Dominic

read the monitor manual that is probably on the cd that came with the monitor. should tell you how to set it up.

Use the button just to the left of the power button to switch the input to the one you are using(dvi or hdmi).
