Xbox 360 looks really bad on 1900x1080 monitor..

So I hooked my xbox360 to my 1900x1080 pc moitor, I set the settings to 1900x1080 but it looks really bad.. The xbox manu looks fine but in game it looks very pixelated and I don't know why.
I'm using hdmi to vga cable

Probably because 90% of xbox 360 games cannot run in 1080p? so if using that resolution, they are upscaled (quite likely from 720p) which can lead to pixelated look.

Other possibility is that the adapter doing HDMI to VGA (digital to analog) is messing it up. This could be tested if you have another screen capable of taking HDMI input and 1920x1080.

The cable is fine, I tested it on the computer itself and it looks normal. So if I'll change the

So if i'll lower the resulotion to 720 will it look fine?

That is a possibility, yes.

Since it is not displays native resolution, display will have to do some scaling itself and that might still cause it to look bit odd. In any case it is Easy enough to test.
