Hi All,
CRITICAL_PROCRESS_DIED
So I recently built a gaming PC. I installed Windows 10 64bit. Everything was running fine for 2 - 3 days I tried to go on to it today to find windows will not start correctly I put it the installation disk and tried the repair my PC option.

I do not have a system restore point as it's new, it can't find a system image file to repair, startup repair option won't work I get the error "Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC. There is no previous build so I can't go back to that.

I tried watching some videos but most of them are on the main desktop which I can't even reach not even in safe mode well I can but I get the same error after a few minutes so don't get a chance to run repairs through cmd. I went into commmand prompt but its only saying x:\Sources its not reading from my actual drive and I've no idea how to change it if any one could help me I'd appreciate it thanks.

( Update - I ran cmd in safe mode administration, typed "powershell" then "SFC.exe /scannow then got the message Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.)

a lot of times that means logon service has failed. does error mention any file names like csrss.exe or ntoskrnl.exe, as if so, windows isn't going to load. SFC doesn't seem to help with Users. Two different things I guess, they aren't classified as system files.

if there is anything on C drive you can't lose, try this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

Do you have a win 10 installer? If not, on another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

I would try a reset first
boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this PC, not install
choose reset PC. Your choice to keep...

boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this PC, not install
choose reset PC. Your choice to keep files/settings or wipe C drive
either way, PC will restart and reinstall win 10.

If it says drive is locked, try this: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/the-drive-where-windows-is-installed-is-locked
