Setting up dual monitors.

I just hooked up a second monitor but for some reason every app I click on on the second screen just opens on the first one. Display is set to extend but I want to be able to click chrome on the second monitor and it opens on the second one not my main.

Well, maybe you have tried this already, but for me it works this way:
Open the program you want, then drag it to the other monitor, close it and the next time you open it, it shall open on the desired monitor. ( For me it works this way )

Make sure you have the Orientation set to 'Landscape' , multiple videos to 'Extend' and the resolution properly set.
