Hi I turned my pc on after getting home from college today and within 5 mins of use I got a blue screen which stated a "dcp_watchdog_violation" I've been searching up fixes like updating drivers but none seem to work.
I've ran the win mem diagnostic tool which came back with no errors, I've also run memtest86 which also came back with no errors.
I can boot into Windows and log in however about 5-20 mins into use my screen freezes for 10 seconds and then the blue screen appears.
Ive used the bsod reporter program which shows you what is cause the bs's and it said that 'ntoskrnl.exe' was causing them.
My pc specs:
Windows 10 64bit
Nvidia 980ti
Vengeance ram 4x4gb (16 total) 2134mhz
I7 4970k 4ghz
120gb ssd (os)
1tb hdd
Any help will be greatly appreciated as I'm getting a bit worried now. Thanks

Hi not to be rude but I stated before that I've done those things but they don't seem to have made a difference. Mem test came back with no errors and none of my components are over clocked. Thanks anyway.

Happy you got yours fixed. My memory isn't the best but when I turned my PC off before bed last night I think it performed an automatic update but I don't know how to check if I'm right.
Would a system restore point fix it or will I have to clean install?
Thanks
