I've recently came to the realisation that my PC is too outdated to game on decent settings or even play any new games at all. So i thought i would try my hand at building a pc that can handle most new games on medium/high settings at least. After researching this is my build list so far:
PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vGGBLD
Price breakdown by merchant: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vGGBLD/by_merchant/
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor (£107.94) - discounted on a website i use.
CPU Cooler: SilenX EFZ-120HA5 86.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler (£41.16 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£70.44 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£38.81 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£43.41 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G Video Card (£194.99 @ Ebuyer)
Case: Raidmax Viper GX ATX Mid Tower Case (£44.99)
Power Supply: Fractal Design Integra M 650W 80+ Silver Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£68.29 @ More Computers)
Total: £610.03
I am very new to the pc building world so any tips on how to save a bit more money or just ways to improve the build in general would be greatly appreciated. alternatively if anyone has a build for the same budget or less that could perform better than this i'd be happy to see it.
Thanks!
