Sorry for the noob question, but I was wondering in reference to 4k screens.
So if my Windows resolution is set to 4k and I open a 1080P video in a media player like VLC and play it full screen, What resolution is the video playing at?
Is the video player "stretching" or "upscaling" it to 4k as it plays? or is it simply playing it in 1080P? Would the quality be better if I switch the windows resolution to 1080? Or does that not matter?
Just a bit confused as to how this works.
