Looking for the best GtX 1070 for $400, unless there is a drastic difference jumping up $50 for the MSI or other. I can always OC on my own right? I dont want to pay extra for that.
I already bought this one, but I was consdiering returning it for the EVGA model, does it matter?
The only 1070 I'd advise against is the Gigabyte G1 model. That cooler has been shoddy on the latest AMD/NVIDIA cores and PCBs. Other than that, no, there is little to no notable difference from 1070 to 1070 in terms of performance and temperatures. Get the cheapest aftermarket model from EVGA, ASUS, or MSI, and then overclock it yourself.
More or less, every gtx 1070 model like any other gpu model,is the the same, with some difference on cooling or on the clocks.Buying the cheapest and overclock it your self i think its worth it.
