Parts are arriving, starting my first build!

Well, let the games begin! This is my first attempt at building a PC and thanks to all who have contributed their wisdom to the myriad of questions/FAQ's and guides out there. Any additional advice is welcome!

I think a lot of that is overkill - especially the storage. What GPU are you going with?

Sorry, forgot to add a couple of the parts as they are being taken from a PC that died . Nvidia 1070 and a Corsair 750 W power unit. I have 4TB of movies/media that I have on an external storage that I want to move to the new hard drive.
Primary uses are Photoshop/Video Editing, gaming and Plex server.

OK that is fine. I think the motherboard is a bit overkill and I definitely would not have bought a Kraken X61 or a Mushkin Reactor (Samsung 850 Evo is better). But otherwise that setup is fine.

2 sets of DRAM? No guarantees they will play together. Best to get a 2x16GB set or at worse a 4x8GB. Mixing sets - even the same exact model is a crapshoot, might play, might not. See items 2 and 6 in my fiction article:
