Computer Slowing Down and Shutting Down Please Help

My computer has been slowing down when loading into games like League of Legends. It has also been slow about opening up Google Chrome. For the past two days my PC has been randomly shutting down. The issue starts with a noise that sounds like my PC is firing a machine gun. Next a blue screen pops up with a frowny face that tells me my PC has ran into an issue. Then it restarts and brings me to a black screen where it says to select proper boot drive or insert boot into cd tray and press any key. When I press any key the message just pops up again. The only way I can get my PC to work again is to completely shut down and start up. My PC shuts down like twice a day. PLEASE HELP!

It sounds like a failing hard drive, as that is one of the few things with moving mechanical parts. Backup your stuff and run chkdsk. Unless the sound comes from the speakers?

How can i check my hard drive using chkdsk? is chkdsk a command?

Yeah right click on Windows symbol in bottom left corner, open Command Prompt (Admin) ant type chkdsk c then hit enter. Then choose yes and restart.Assuming you are on Win 10 and your problem drive is C. That will only scan for errors, not fix anything tho. Try not to interrupt it either.
