Question about swapping graphics cards

Now, I'm not planning on actually doing this, but this is just something I've been curious about for a while now. Say I have an Asus Strix GTX 980 in my PC, and I swapped it with an EVGA GTX 980 FTW; same card (pretty much), just different company. Would I need to update or reinstall any drivers or could I run it off the existing drivers? Also, will all of my Nvidia settings stay the same as well?

Yes, to all the above. I can swap out totally different cards and still have the same settings. Like going from a 750 ti to a 980 ti, as long as you don't touch the drivers or Nvidia Experiance, everything should remain the same.
