980ti for $350, Good deal or no?

hi guys i currently have a 970 but i have the option to buy a brand new founders edition 980ti for $350. Is that a deal i absolutely should not pass? I was considering the 1070 but thats a $100 more. Would appreciate your opinion, thanks!

According to benchmarks the 980Ti checks in within 10% of the 1070, plus I think most go for 400+ so I think that sounds quite good unless prices have dropped since I last looked

That sounds about right. Used 980ti go for around $310 to $375 USD on ebay.

I would pass only because its a founders edition and they run so hot that they usually run into thermal throttling which reduces performance due to high heat. For $50 more you can get a brand new GTX 1070 factory overclocked with aftermarket cooling.

pass, you can get a new gigabyte, evga, or zotac 1070 for ~$390 with good aftermarket cooler
