I would recommend not getting a 27" for 1080p gaming. Rather get a 22-24" monitor. At 27" 1080p is not as impressive.

This: http://www.ebuyer.com/263935-asus-ve247h-23-6-full-hd-led-hdmi-monitor-ve247h It has 2ms response time as opposed to 6ms for the 2 Acers, and it has HDMI, DVI, and VGA.

What GPU will you be getting? Going for either higher refresh rate or higher resolution might be a good idea. 1440p should be standard for a gaming monitor with a good GPU today.

Comparing those two, the cheaper monitor has quite a lot of good reviews. The expensive one does not have a single review on amazon. Specs are very similar, I would choose the cheaper version and save the £40.

The reduced response time will not really be a deal breaker (though I did mention it as an advantage above with the Asus:sarcastic: ). For £40 I do not think 2ms is worth the difference.

If you are set on getting a 27" monitor for couch gaming on the PS3, then maybe consider this? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/nsTmP6/asus-monitor-ve278h
