Hi guys,

I'm planning to do some small pc from used parts, but with making my own case and putting lcd screen on that case. Also the main factor in this build is price.

So i went and searched for some lcd screens, i was thinking of two options:

Option 1:

Buying a rasberry pi lcd screen 7" - http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-inch-LCD-Screen-Display-Monitor-for-Raspberry-Pi-Driver-Board-HDMI-VGA-2AV-/281467638821?hash=item4188c75425:g:xGAAAOSwNRdX5TqS

Can this be used on windows 7 system ? Resolution of screen is 800x480, so i'm not sure if it will work, but for windows xp i think it should work since min resolution is 640 X 480

Option 2:

Buying an lcd screen from laptop that's about like 10/15$ and using controller board like this one - http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Controller-Board-DIY-Kit-MT561-MD-Driver-LVDS-Inverter-Turn-LCD-to-Monitor-/262181514696?hash=item3d0b3c6dc8:g:jSoAAOSwxN5WZq-B

What do you guys think will work the best in this situation ? Do you have any more ideas about this ?
