Problems with Tracked Threads

Hello all,
This question is aimed at experienced users of Tom's Hardware. I encourage moderators and administrators to answer this as well.

Basically, I've had problems with threads telling me that there was activity when there was no new posts/replies and I even looked for edits to existing posts/replies and didn't see any. With that said, I went to the page where you view all tracked threads and just marked all as read. Problem is, there were a few that I hadn't followed up on yet and I can't seem to find which ones they are. So, if moderators see threads that are waiting for me to answer them, go ahead and let me know. Either that or just answer it yourself, whichever seems like a better solution.

Well that's about it. So if you've noticed posts that are awaiting my response, that would be why. Please notify me of these posts via giving me the URL, or answer them yourselves, whichever seems like the best way to resolve it.

So if Thread A is merged to become part of Thread B, and thread B receives a new response, it would also notify me of activity on Thread A?

If you are following Thread A and Thread A gets merged into Thread B, then you are now following Thread B; Thread A no longer exists.

Thanks for the information... That was the part that was annoying me, I didn't know how that part of the system worked. Lol

There was an erroneous (deleted) entry. You won't see those, even if notified.

I've got another annoyance as well:
You can't stop tracking a thread that's been locked.
For an active user the list of tracked threads that are locked will grow very long over time...

I keep being told that posts have been answered by weberdarren97 (me), but when I go to it, there's no activity and none of my answers have been selected as best answers. Yes, I've checked to make sure that it wasn't selected and then deselected.
