i googled it and got this "16:10 aspect ratio resolutions: - 1280×800, 1440×900, 1680×1050, 1920×1200 and 2560×1600. 16:9 aspect ratio resolutions: 1024×576, 1152×648, 1280×720, 1366×768, 1600×900, 1920×1080, 2560×1440 and 3840×2160"
but idk what aspect ratio means haha

Solution
16:10 aspect ratio means that if you were to divide the screen up into equal size squares, there would be 16 squares across and 10 squares high. 160 squares total
4:3 divide screen and get 4 across and 3 high 12 squares total
16:9 16 across 9 high 144 squares
the aspect ratio relates to the resolution in that a 800x600 4:3 video will not completely fill the screen of a 1920x1200 16:10 display, there will be bars across the top and bottom.
the monitor determines the aspect ratio, the aspect ratio determines the available resolutions.
