HDMI splitter? I have 2 monitors but only 1 port on GFX, will it work?

Hello will the computer be able to detect 2 monitors with a HDMI splitter of some sort?

I need it to run 2 monitors. both actively as usual. where you can run the mouse from monitor 1 to monitor 2.

Sadly no.

If you use a splitter you will end up with two monitors displaying the same thing. You can use a different cable if your graphics card and monitor support it (VGA, DVI for example).

Whats your GPU ? Model and make. On one cable pc probably wont detect both monitors.
Better to be on different ports.

as long as you have more than 1 video output port on your pc you can just buy an adaptor e.g. dvi to hdmi and that way you can run 2 monitors.
