I am currently looking for a new monitor with a Super-Wide 34" size and 3440x1440 resolution.
From what i've gathered, there seem to be monitors catered to gaming and then others for graphic design.
The thing is, i do some basic web development / graphic design, but i am not a professional and also i do game but i wouldn't consider myself to be hardcore.
Basically the two monitors that have caught my eye are the Acer Predator X34A and also the new Dell U3417W.
If i were to go for the X34A, would it have the image quality and color calibrations for design work too? The fact it supports G-Sync and up to 100Hz refresh rate sounds good, but i also have owned two Dell monitors in the past and found the colours and image quality to be exellent and to be honest i've never seen a 100Hz screen in person so i dont know if i'd gain much by jumping from my current 60Hz up to 100.
Does anyone have any thoughts on which would be the best choice to make?
