Im currently looking at a 27 inch monitor and a 24 inch monitor, both are 1080p. Will the 24 inch one look higher res then the 27 inch due to more stretched pixels, or will there be no difference?

Solution
No noticeable difference. Just a bigger cooler monitor. I got a 27" 1080p monitor and looks very good while gaming. I also got a 50" 1080p TV and you can only see the pixels when you are looking at it like 10cm from the tv..

Solution
I have a 27" 1080p monitor and its fine for gaming and videos but I hate it for spreadsheets or reading bodies of text as its just not sharp enough. A lot is probably personal choice and how sharp your eyesight is but if buying again I would not get a 27" 1080p, it would have to be 1440p at that size.
