It really depends on what you are looking for. I have used many brands of power supplies and have found the ones made by Seasonic were the quietest, but many of them began to fail after five years, usually the 5vSB. I've had a lot of Antecs made by Channel-Well that were much older and every last one of those failed from exploded Fuhjyyu caps on 5v, but all of them are still working today because I recapped them--something I was not about to do with the Seasonics because their OST caps dry up but show no outward signs of failure, so the only way to diagnose them would be to desolder each cap to test them, which is too much work. If you can find a Seasonic with only Japanese or polymer caps like their high-end models they'd probably be great, but the cheaper S12II or G-series based OEM models generally don't.
I've also had many made-by-Delta, Lite-On and Zippy/Emacs power supplies for over 20 years and none have ever failed, but those aren't the quietest.
Nowadays I generally care more about reliability, performance and quietness than price or efficiency, so reading reviews like over at JonnyGuru is the best way. There are also some "PSU tier lists" to simplify things and you probably can't go too far wrong with a tier 1 or tier 2 supply from any of those, but they won't take into account strange things that may matter to you like repairability.
