Hi
I am planning to buy Asus VX24AH which has a resolution: 2560 x 1440
I was wondering If i want to play gta 5 on my 2k monitor having resolution 1920 x 1080 , will the quality of game degrade? If yes to how much extent?

Currently i am having a full hd monitor with a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 , when i lowered it to 1600 resolution it looked weired.

So my question is will it look weired on the 2k monitor too when lowering down the resolution 1920 x 1080 on a 2k monitor.

Please help guys i am in a serious trouble. If someone has tried it please do let me know.

Thanks

Not really too sure on that...

The quality will just look like any other 1920x1080 Monitor, so don't worry.

As the scaling of the monitors are both 16x9, they will be perfectly fine when running, It's like running 720p on a 1080p monitor, it looks the same, just less pixels.

So yeah, the quality will be the same, just a little bit larger when using 1080p rather than 1440p.

I'm guessing you play GTA V on your current monitor, if so, it'll look like that, just on your new monitor.

Thanks for replying

I have doubt , then why the game look weired when i lowered it to 1600 resolution on my current monitor which has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080. I even saw the game turned out more dark and lagged in colours?

thanks

Not really too sure on that, with it being the same scaling it should be the same, just smoother.
