Greetings this is my build in theory, I do have a few parts already though

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (Already Purchased)

*Need Cooler Help plan to overclock to 4.3-4.5*

Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card

Corsair C70 Military Green (Green) ATX Mid Tower Case (Already Purchased)

EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (Already Purchased)

Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit (Already Purchased)

Dell S2716DG 27.0" 144Hz Monitor

I do truly appreciate any help find a cooler that is going to not mess with my ram and first PCI slot, it is driving my nuts as I do not know the measurements between those, also the clearance on that case is 170mm for a Cooler.

I am looking for a purely air cooled solution, I realize the closed loop would be a great option but the thought of a leak or something is enough to remove my interest from them.

yea, youll get the performance you want. the 1080 is a beast, and so is your CPU.

for the cooler you have a couple options:

get a liquid cooler (NZXT Kraken X61 is one of the best closed loop coolers),
you could also just get low profile RAM (something like Corsair Vengeance LPX),
or go with a smaller cooler (CRYORIG R1 Universal or Noctua NH-U12S).

I should have mentioned in my top post I have little interest in a closed loop cooler. I would simply worry all the time regardless of how reliable they are. I will make an edit and I do appreciate your response, I'll take a gander at low profile ram.

Edit: Looked at the ram is the difference simply the LPX is shorter and a different brand, Specs are the same assuming I pikced the DDR4-3000 Memory as well on this set?. Thank you.
