Desktop Freezes on a Daily Basis

Hello all,

My computer will freeze up on a daily basis. I am not sure what the reason is as I have no real pattern, but for the sake of added detail I tend to notice it more often when I am not present at the computer (idle for awhile) or when I am NOT gaming. It has actually only frozen once while I was gaming.

I have tested the memory with window 10's memory diagnostic tool and it came back with no errors.

I am running windows 10 64-bit.
Intel i5-3570k
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

this might help:
right click start menu
choose power options
set power plan to HIgh Performance - if its not showing, click Show additional plans
click change plan settings next to plan you on
set PC and monitor to never turn off while PC is on (or set a long period, your choice)
in advanced power settings, set hdd to never turn off

Update BIOS and/or Motherboard drivers
