Just finished building my first PC but there is no signal to monitor!

I just finished building my first PC and I have connected it to my monitor via DVI cable AND HDMI still getting No Signal message on my monitor. I've tried connecting straight to GPU as well but no luck!

MSI z170a pro carbon
i5 6600k
Corsair vengence LPX (2 8GB)
gtx 980ti MATRIX
Corsair CX600

I'd bench it, have a guide here:

Might in part anyway be the PSU, with your rig would want a good 600 PSU, and the CX600 only has about 520 on the 12 volt rail
