so my basic question is Do I really need a 1440p 27inch monitor or should I just stick with my 1080p 27 inch?

I will be taking 1080 ti as a gpu
For that i have selected a monitor called benq xl2720z(144hz,27inch,1ms g to g 1080p) but the problem is that some ppl are telling me that dont go for a 27 inch 1080p monitor as the pixel density will get reduced so they are telling me go for a 24 inch monitor or buy a 27inch 1440p monitor here the problem is that im buying a little expensive gpu which reduces my budget of monitor to 450-500$
