Hi,
I've viewed different topics on this problem on several sites throughout the web, but I wanted to ensure that the problem is the memory before buying new. I've tried checking the HDD for errors, it came back clean. I also tried checking the memory for errors, but it came back clean as well. Here is the error message I get from Blue Screen View:
My OS is Windows 10 64-bit w/ 8 GB memory 1 TB HDD
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 840M
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Update: Called Dell about the issue. Spent an hour on the phone with them, during which they accessed my system remotely. I was told it's a software issue and they then tried to charge me $129 to wipe my system. I'm not paying them that, as I can do it on my own. Before I spent the time to backup my files and such, I want to be sure that it's actually the cause. The man I spoke to said that ntoskrnl.exe is my issue, and it means that my OS is almost completely corrupted. Is this actually my issue?
