I'm upgrading from a Samsung Syncmaster T24B350. I'll be using my asus for watching a lot other than gaming. Would it be considered a very good monitor for watching even though it's a TN panel?
Yes, if your stairing directly at the screen a TN is no problem, however if many people are around the screen watching at differenct angles you will notice the difference.
its an ips panel with g sync and 120hz refresh rate.
for movies and gamming, i would never leave my room .
i would watch the lord of the rings and the hobbit maraton on that.
An IPS panel with that has 1ms? If it is a IPS panel with 1ms than I got this for a really good deal then lol
The PG348Q is an 21:9 curved ultra wide display. It uses an IPS panel with 5ms response time and up to 100hz refresh rate (60 out of the box). The PG278Q is the 16:9 TN panel with the 1ms response time and 144hz refresh rate.
