Live in W. PA with hills. Mechanic has had in city for 2 weeks won't overheat in any situation. Great on distance, running then driving.. Need suggestions quick. Losing coolant but don't know where its going. Possibly out exhaust. How do I check if air lock or exhaust fumes in coolant reservoir? Engine is new to this car and to my knowledge, has around 26k miles.

Solution
If you are loosing coolant through the exhaust the exhaust would thick and white while the engine is running. If you are loosing coolant into the oil then the oil will be milky.

Sorry and thanks, but I knew that. Oil is good, not even any streaks, exhaust is questionable. Not much white smoke, but still don't know where antifreeze is going. Not leaking out. Still need to check for exhaust fumes in reservoir and air lock.
