Please help! Monitor buying suggestion?

Hey guys,

So i'm thinking of buying a new monitor for my desk setup what i'm basically going to do is hook it into the HDMI and connect it with my laptop for gaming watching youtube,movies etc.

Now i'm stuck between two monitor one is benq other is dell the price difference is negligible
although dell has a shorter screen i.e 21.5 vs benq's 24 inch. please note that benq 21.5 monitor is around 30 dollars cheaper than dell's! Also i'm up for any other suggestions my budget is around 10,000 rupees which is approx 150 dollars usd.

Whilst this isn't the best monitor around, the Samsung S24D300HS is a cheaper monitor that still provides everything you need with 2ms response time and 1080p display in a 24" screen.

The GL2460HM is the better monitor out of the two, and comes in a 24" form factor which is really the sweet spot for 1080p. The fact that it is actually cheaper is good news.

Samsung S24D300HS seems good but i couldn't find a single link to buy it in india guess i'll go with the benq then it has the same response rate!

Yep, they're both very similar monitors, but the 24D300HS is very expensive in india, usually around 20k.

Yeah interestingly there's diwali deal going on amazon india right now i just looked up and found benq higher model BenQ GW2470H at a cheaper price so i'll probably go with that one!
