Hi there!

I'm going to buy a new monitor to connect my laptop to it. I always have been "picky / fussy" about having maximum sensation of HD even without being inside a game, on the Desktop and just managing Windows, I can feel the difference between 60hz and 120hz.

So my question is: what are the difference between both HZ just when not gaming purposals? I mainly feel it on mice cursor movement, is there more noticeable things?

Thank you so much

the difference is that any fast movement (of some object like window, cursor or whatever in game) on the screen looks smoother on higher refresh rate monitors if the computer can output at that high refresh rate.
That does not apply to movies as they are 24-30-60FPS.
