Hi!

first of all im sorry if this is in a wrong thread. But this seems to be only chrome issue so i wasnt sure which thread i should put this in. But yeah about the problem, I get this artifact in almost every video (when i start a video in youtube, when i scroll down facebook and the videos in story starts) etc. and it stops when i press pause and then press play again.. it seems to be only with chrome because microsoft edge didnt have this issue at all. Here is example picture from one facebook video what happens http://imgur.com/bxvfG7b

I have been trying to look from google about the problem, but havent seen any thread with the exact same issue. Have tried to re-install chrome and flash player, but those didnt have any effect. Its not a serious problem because it stops just by pressing pause and play again. But it still annoys when something is wrong lol...

Thanks in advance!

I did have some addons running, but only some google doc, google sheets etc. google's addons. I tried without them but didnt do anything as expected haha..

This is another example, its from youtube http://imgur.com/fCO3Bhd I cropped the picture so there wouldnt be any extra crap on the picture. It is like that, not in every video but very often at the start of the video and those black artifacts/black screen ripples and moves, until i press pause and play again..

And yes i have latest graphics card drivers, and i dont think its a hardware related issue because it doesnt do this with microsoft edge.

Here is another thread about this: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3225032/gtx1070-artifacting.html

Do you happen to be using a GTX 1070?

I noticed this issue myself and i'm using a 1070 also. I was using Firefox then I reinstalled Windows 10 (for a reason i wont go into). Instead of Firefox I went back to Chrome and that is the first thing I noticed because I always go to YouTube to check and make sure my sound is working properly.

It went away. Although I don't know what I did to make it go away. You can go to help ->About Google Chrome and see if you are using the latest version. You can also try using DDU to uninstall your graphics driver then reinstall the latest Nvidia driver and see if that helps. It is for sure something with Chrome though as Firefox didn't do it.

update: I literally just went to YouTube and the issue is still present. Not sure why it picked this exact moment to occur again out of nowhere.

One idea. Try setting power in Nvidia options to adaptive
