Monitor vs Tv

Primary use is viewing PDF drawings. Just got (2) 34" 4k monitors with supporting graphics card and the pic is great but I'm disappointed as I still have to zoom to see parts of drawing clearly. Think I made the wrong choice by getting monitors. I think if I get a 50" 4k tv(about $900) that would be a better choice and enable me to see much more of the drawing at once and clearly. Any thoughts? Thanks

Well, if your not gaming, a TV would probably be better.

The only problem is usually the low refresh rate but anything except gaming is barely noticeable.
I CAN answer that last part - you can but there's a major "restocking" charge if the item isn't resellable. Standard restocking fee is 10-15% depending on the component, but all items must be included in the return, including the box - i kid not. Spent about an hour reading their FAQ on this yesterday

I don't really blame them though, as is it is harder to resell
