Is this a good monitor for competitive esports on console?

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a dedicated monitor for my xbox and ps4 and am wondering if this monitor would do the job?

It says that it's 60 Hz with a 1 ms response time. Thats what I'm looking for, but I am curious as to why this BenQ console gaming monitor(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014573) is $100 more? Am I just paying for the name brand? or is there actually something beneficial to the extra money it costs? thanks guys

With a console the first monitor would be best.

That said I wouldn't do competitive gaming on a console....
