dead monitor / no display

So.... if anyone out there can help

I bought 2 new monitors about 9 month ago, (ASUS PB258Q) yesterday when I power on my computer, one monitor works fine, the other is not displaying anything. However, it plays sound, and you can tell it has power because it glows a little. just no picture. I know this is not my computer or cable problem after testing with old monitors.

I disconnected both monitors and compared them side by side, when powering on, the good one display a ASUS logo, the bad one doesn't, when I press the buttons for adjust brightness and sound, nothing shows up either. However, I can tell the buttons are working because the display powers off when I finish adjusting. seems all the functions are there, just nothing gets displayed.

I assume it's a hardware problem with the monitor itself.

anyone has similar issues and fixed it?

I'm trying to RMA it, the monitor is pretty heavy, I maybe looking at a $100 shipping fee. so I want to check if I missed anything

other then the power cable connector on the back you wil have to open it and that will void waranty . another thing you could try id to blow some canned air in the vent and where the button are .
