Hi just purchased the XB321HK predator 32 in 4k monitor it's coming today and I was wondering do I use the dvi d port or get a hdmi? For gaming and watching movies. I have the 1080 evga superclocked gpu. I really want the best configuration hoping maybe there is a guide on how to get the best settings for the predator but my main thing is do I use the hdmi cable or dvi cable. Thanks In advance

The monitor only has HDMI 1.4b... limiting 4K support to 30Hz.

For 4K @ 60Hz, you'll need to use DisplayPort.

This monitor does not have DVI-D ports, You only options are HDMI (make sure you get a good HDMI 2.0 cable) or use a DisplayPort cable. Since this monitor is limited to 60Hz refresh, there should be no performance difference between the 2.
