I game in a media room, we do not have room for a large desk or multi monitor set-up (Live in the bay area, small rooms big prices.) Anyway, I've been given a 1080 GTX build for Christmas from my S.O. and now I would like to upgrade our TV to 4k.

I would like to have a set capable of 4k 60fps, the size I am looking at is 65 inches, no more than 2000 dollars. LG, Samsung, Sony and Sharp are all good companies but I don't mind Vizio, Panasonic, Phillips if they are able to run 60 fps.

I have an 4k LG unit in the living room, but this is strictly for other members of my household to use, even though it is mine I do not want to keep people from enjoying their shows.

So probably Samsung UN65KS8000 is your best bet.
IF you want best quality and for $2000 id go for OLED but 65Inches is way beyond your budget so 55 Inch one https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-OLED55B6P-55-Inch-Ultra/dp/B01CDF9S1G/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1477941767&sr=1-2&keywords=oled
or curved one https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-OLED55C6P-Curved-55-Inch/dp/B01CDDTZMK/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1477941767&sr=1-5&keywords=oled&th=1

I have the 65Inch version of the OLED there really is no TV that even compares its different technology from all other Tvs.

Well, thank you. I mean, other than assuming my budget is way below 3k which while Id like to stay under 2k doesn't mean I cannot afford it. We actually have an OLED unit in the front room me and my bf bought. I have 2 other roommates whom cant afford luxuries like large tvs and expensive rigs, we try to help them feel more comfortable since they rent out the basement appartment and they are our close friends.

So I whole heartidly agree the LG units are absolutely great I just want something large, HDR, and something with minimal input lag. I suppose my question was quite poorly worded. Most 4k tvs can run 60hz, but most cannot run under 30-35 ms.

Yea then KS8000 is your best bet it has around 20ms as far as input lag and it costs around 1700.
