DP Broke off Monitor! Need Help.

As you can see the plastic is gone. I cant press on anything to disconnect the DP.

Any suggestions will help. Thanks!


EDIT: was able to get it out without damaging the monitor!

I thought that HDMI could not do 1440p @ 144hz

That would depend on the HDMI version of you video card. HMDI 1.4a supports 4K and HMDI 2.0 or greater supports 4K at 60fps+. If your video card is from the past 2 years it should support HMDI 1.4a at the very least.

I add this if you have problems after the removal of the DP.
