Google Chrome uses more CPU and Memory

Memory and CPU are much higher with google chrome. I recently removed a hard disk, to fix my computer but it makes my computer laggy, CPU, Memory, and Disk is much higher than normal, I cannot find a fix for this. It would mean a lot if you helped me. Thank you.

Yes, I downloaded Malware Bytes, and didn't find anything.
