Hello,
Can anyone confirm if i can still do a clean install of windows 10 using my windows 8 key? I haven't had w10 on my pc and because i am having issues with the windows updates since 2014 and i was never prompted with the upgrade. I have read a couple of articles where people mentioned you can do it through opting in for the 'assistive technology' but i think this is only an upgrade. I want to do a clean install to resolve the issue with updates and wipe the drives clean.
I have downloaded the 'flash copy' of w10 and its ready to go, i just want to make sure it will accept my w8 key, if not i will stay with w8.
Thanks in advance
