Delete Windows 10 folders on second hard drive.

Hi,

I had a mechanical drive as my main hard drive with Windows 10 on it. Then I bought an SSD drive as my main drive and installed Windows 10 on that one. Now my mechanical drive is my secondary hard drive, but it still has folders for program files, windows, users, etc that don't need to be there any more. But, even though I'm an admin, I can't delete them.

What do I have to do to delete them? There are a bunch of other files on there that I don't want to lose, and won't fit on the new drive, so I don't want to format it.

Thanks

I installed "Take Ownership" to be able to take control of difficult files and folders.

there is an option to clear windows files in disk cleanup utility try that

That won't work, that is for the C: drive. His new SSD is now the C: drive and his old hard drive is now a different letter.

I would use a third party partition manager to clean up the old hard drive, some like Mini Tool Partition Wizard. https://www.partitionwizard.com/
