Duel Monitors with 2 different Sizes and Resolutions Help

Hello, as you can tell by the title i need help setting up my monitors.

My main monitor is a LG Ultrawide and should run at 2560 x 1080 but i can only get it to run at 1920 x 1080 this is plugged in Displayport> HDMI cable

My second monitor which i ordered and turned up today plugged in and went to its native resolution of 1680x1050. this is plugged in DVI cable

before i had my 2nd monitor my main monitor ran fine at 2560 x 1080, its just since ive plugged new one in, ive gone through the settings and there is no option for 2560x1080.

Some specs just incase:

GeForce GTX 980Ti
intel Core I7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
16GB ram

I solved this problem...

i switched my HDMI-displayport canble for a hdmi-hdmi cable and it worked for me, kept the second monitor the same
