I built my computer 3 months ago and it has been working great until I got this BSOD.
My computer froze while playing CSGO and then gave me a blue screen. Windows will not get past the spinning dots without the same BSOD. The BSOD error is whea_uncorrectable_error. I have formatted the SSD and reinstalled Windows 10. Whenever the install is done and the same blue screen comes up. Troubleshooting, I reinstalled Windows every time and got the same results. I have tried a different HDD, disconnected the video card and tried the onboard video, switched the RAM,put one ram stick in at a time and in slots 1 and 2. Everytime I still get the whea_uncorrectable_error BSOD at the end of the Windows install and Windows will not load at all. Currently I am thinking the motherboard or processor has gone bad. Does anyone have any suggestions as to something I am missing or should try?

Windows Hardware Error Architecture errors are almost always associated with the CPU, so one of your guesses could be true. Check its fan is working, or its not overheating or the thermal paste is still there...

Now CPU and Motherboard are the hardest things to test. especially if windows isn't working as you cannot even run benchmarks on it then.

are you on amd or Intel?
If intel, you might be able to run https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool linux version by booting off http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/ but i don't know linux at all and a fedora version might not run on ubuntu

as for AMD, I don't know...
