It could just be the internet speed instead of the computer. Try running a speed test on Www.speedtest.net and let us know what you get for download and upload and also ping. Edit: It could just be a simple internet issue and wouldnt require a graphics/video card.

If it really is "lagging" that it is something with the connection.
To many people call to many things "lag"
It might be stuttering or not being fluid, but it cannot "lag" except for network reasons.

Everybody here is absolutely right, your son is no way experiencing lag with that system setup, it's about as powerful as it gets. It could just be crappy servers which is nothing on his side. or he has a 4K monitor and simply needs to tone down the settings a ta wee bit.

Or, and I hate to bee that dude, but it's possible your son got a virus watching porn. Sorry, happens all the time to kids. What can I say.
