Hi folks
just joined up and oh boy am I in a spot, tight spot at that, my age , well 65, yes 65, and an avid gamer.
The problem is that wherever I install my games, partition, operating system, I find that I have to defrag after every game, even after half an hour or so.
Now I assume this cannot be correct, so can someone please HELP me out here,

much appreciated and thanx for veiwing my post

Solution
What do you mean you have to?
Do games slow down considerably and it just happens that after defragging they run better?
Could be that your cpu overheats and thous lowers clocks to keep within safe temps, while you defrag it cools down so afterwards it runs at full speed again...
Anyway list all of your equipment and check on clock speeds while gaming.
Easiest way to do this is to play something in windowed mode and have a tool like core temp running in a corner.
