Looking for Monitor Recommendation for RTS games

I am looking for a recommendation for a gaming monitor for RTS gaming. I have read a good amount about IPS vs TN vs VA. 60 vs 120 vs 144 etc. But the majority of the advice is for FPS, which I don't play. I don't want to invest in a ton of features that won't apply to RTS games. I have a budget of $250 or less. My system specs:

CPU: I5-6600K
GPU: Asus GTX 770
MOBO: Asus Z170-A
RAM: Corsair 16gb 3200
HD: WD blue 1TB
PSU: EVGA supernova 750 gold
Cooler: Corsair 80i
