Hello!

I know this is asked over and over again, but this is my first time building a PC and I really want to make sure nothing is amiss. I have already asked tons of my friends, and friends' friends, to help me with the components. Now I just need to make sure everything is working with everything else, basically the compatibility--I also want to make sure everything is optimized and is able to function to their full potential.

Here's the build:
- Processor: Intel i7-6700k
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: MSI Z170-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
- Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
- Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Case: Fractal Design Define R5 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
- Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
- Wattage: 224W

Notes:
-OS will be Windows 10
-Do NOT plan to overclock
-Do NOT play games or do video editing
-I use it for recording studio. the most important is an extremely powerful CPU, very fast drives (for mixing music, aka reading audio files real time) and very fast and large RAM (for loading samples and using them real time).

THANKS everyone in advance!!

Around $1100 USD (I'm in Canada, so that's around $1500 CAD).

But at this point, unless you can suggest a huge improvement in performance, I'm not too looking forward to changing any parts unless something is amiss or is not going to work in the best compatibility with other components. Not that I'm not open-minded, but I have changed this list for like a gazillion times haha. Again, if you can suggest a huge or huge enough improvement, please let me know!

Here is the list:

There will be good improvement over the above build.(How)

Because of that 2 extra cores you can run multiple applications side by side more smoothly as the single core performance distribution will be less stressed. And the OC ability of the cores is good for getting the job done. With that Corsair cooler you can tweak it up to 4.3GHz with no problem and maintain lower temps. With that board there is no reason to limit yourself to 32GB RAM you can upgrade up-to 128GB with no problems. When you feel requirement add another kit of 16GB x 2 RAM and get total of 64GB.

Why a GPU is included in the build?

There are some production software which utilize the GPU power for visualization instead of stressing it on CPU. Such software can be run more smoothly using GPU while the main work is stressed on CPU the visualization can be managed by GPU removing some stress from CPU. (If you don't require that just remove the GPU and rest remains same)
