Is this a good build for a 800ish budget?

ok, now im just plain confused. why did you swap out the motherboard, memory, and power supply?

this is all magic to me. What makes what better than what and why. Im sorry if im giving you a headache

I can do slightly better! ;)
Also you forgot to include an SSD @ CTurbo.
What makes it better is a motherboard with better sound, better features, a faster graphics card, a faster SSD, a better value power supply and cheaper RAM that is still high quality.

Whoa. I didnt expect these kinds of answers! Thanks so much!

Im pretty strict on the white windowed case with green though. would it be able to fit these components?

again, thank you! if 850 was my absolute budget and a white windowed case with green was included in the price is it possible that anyone could point me in the right direction of a good build? this is my first build. i only want to play games on it and stream, maybe do video editing...maybe. aaa games, sandbox and mods. nothing else. no movies. no youtube. no porn.

again, thank you everyone. this is why i love this site. long time lurker.

If you're budget is $850, you could get an i7. It would really help with streaming.

I still recommend the RX 480, it'll perform about 10% worse than the 1060 6GB but it's a bargain for the price.
I can up your other components though.
Why so heavy on white and green?
Seems like a strange color combo, and I'd just go with a white case and get green LEDs.

Yeah upping them would be great! i want a cooler fan, 2x 8G and an ssd and hd for storage. the case is because I like the way the windowed ones look and i love the color white. a windowed white case with green LEDs would be just fine.

You can always add a ssd later. They're nice to have, but are really more of a luxury.

This would still be great
