Computer red screened and wont load now

So basically I was playing a game when the screen suddenly turned red with black lines. It kept flicking to that so I restarted my PC. As it loaded up the red came back, then went black. I restarted again, and each time I try the windows loading screen comes up, then goes black. It gave me the option screen to restart or troubleshoot. I've tried a system restore but that didn't help at all. Could really use some advice.

is this a laptop or desktop? if laptop, what make/model, if desktop is it a brand name or custom?

what graphics card do you have? Does motherboard have on-board video out - can you try that and see if problem is screen or PC

I have a desktop, its custom, I got it from IBuyPower a few years ago. I have an AMD R9 270X. Motherboard does not have on board video.
