How do I go about the Nvidia's V Sync on a G-sync Monitor?

Just got my hands on PG248Q and about to experience g-sync for the first time.
When I play FPS games, I always left v-sync off hence leaving triple buffering off as well.
With G-sync monitor, am I better off leaving v-sync on or off?

There's also an old game that I play which is an FPS and the refresh rate doesn't go beyond 85Hz. In this instance, should I leave v-sync on or off?

And what would be the case for RPG/RTS?

Also triple buffering only works for opengl based games. Pre-rendered frames for DX is another alternative for DX games to 'try' and reduce input lag vsync induces which adative/fast vsync is better off. Gync is suppose to eliminate hassles so as above leave vsync off.
