Hello,
I'm finding it very difficult to decide on a monitor to upgrade to.
I've done lots of research and watched a lot of videos and have narrowed down what spec's I'd prefer the monitor to be.
I'm hoping to use my Benq RL2455hm which I have now as a secondary/browser tabs monitor beside the new one, but I can't seem to find and stick with one. I'll be gaming on the new one hoping to not need an upgrade for the next two or three years.
I'm mainly wanting a monitor with these descriptions: 144hz, 1440p, 1ms response time, and G-sync.
Would you recommend a different spec on the monitor? TN or IPS isn't really a problem..
If you had any suggestions or recommendations could you please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate them!
Thankyou,

1ms vs 4ms is essentially the same, manufacturers cherry pick results and go; "Look it's a 1ms response time!"
When in reality they're more like 5ms average or higher.
Most 4ms IPS gaming panels have an average of 5-6ms as well, and they feel identical to a TN '1ms' monitor, so don't take that into account when buying, go for image quality.
I play Starcraft semi-professionally and use an IPS 1440p 144hz monitor. :p
I need a budget.

Thanks for the reply,
I don't really have a set budget, but I wouldn't pay anything over $750 usd, but if the monitors in this range are not worth it I could wait longer for a more expensive one...

That's plenty. :)
If you want G-Sync, which imo is good for graphically intensive stuff where you're around 50-70FPS and hate those dips, get this.

If you don't want G-Sync but still want an IPS panel, which I always try to recommend, get this: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/c298TW/asus-monitor-mg279q

If you're fine with a TN: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/spbkcf/acer-monitor-umhg0ee001

24" TN G-Sync monitor, quite good: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/CwgPxr/dell-s2417dg-238-165hz-monitor-s2417dg

Thanks for that! :), from looking at those options I'm leaning towards the dell S2417DG, looks to fit my needs and 165hz is even better. the only downer is the TN, but I have been gaming on a TN the last two years and I have had no problems. Is there anything else that I should know about this monitor or consider about the other monitors? Thanks again for the suggestions, its really helped having a person who knows their stuff! :)
